Participants create a recurring IT control workflow that monitors defined services, processes technical information, identifies exceptions, and routes actionable findings to appropriate technical teams.

## Current Capability Reference

**Webhooks by Zapier** currently supports receiving and sending HTTP-based events, while **API by Zapier** supports authenticated API calls using OAuth2 or API keys.

**Code by Zapier** currently supports custom **Python and JavaScript**, including data transformation, calculations, API calls, structured-data processing, and use of npm/PyPI packages. **Zapier Functions was retired on September 1, 2026**, so new training should use Code by Zapier instead.

**AI by Zapier** now supports agentic workflows using connected tools and knowledge sources, with optional approval before sensitive tool actions.

**Sub-Zaps** currently enable reusable workflow components shared across multiple Zaps and remain a **beta** capability.
