Scenarios

Customer Evidence to Product Investment Decision

Customer Feedback + Product Data + Meeting Notes + Internal Research → Gemini in Drive → Insight Synthesis → PRD in Docs → Prioritisation & Metrics in Sheets → Executive Presentation in Slides → Stakeholder Review → Product Decision

Participants combine qualitative and quantitative evidence from approved Workspace sources to evaluate a product opportunity, develop requirements, quantify priorities, and present a traceable recommendation without treating AI-generated conclusions as validated customer evidence.

Product Release to Automated Adoption & Improvement Loop

Approved Release Plan → Workspace Studio Trigger → Product Information → Launch Tasks → Stakeholder Communications → Meeting / Chat Updates → Adoption Data → Feedback Analysis → Product Review → Improvement Actions

Participants design an integrated product-operations workflow that reduces repetitive coordination while retaining human approval for customer commitments, strategic prioritisation, and final product decisions.

## Current Capability Reference

As of **September 2026**, Gemini in Google Workspace has expanded into deeper **cross-app agentic workflows** across Gmail, Drive, Docs, Slides, and Chat. Gemini can use authorised Workspace context to coordinate complex work and create formatted Docs, structured Sheets, and presentations while users remain in their current workflow.

Gemini in **Google Drive** can currently analyse information across multiple folders and sources including Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, Gmail, Chat, and Calendar; compare information and file versions; identify patterns; and provide citations back to original Workspace documents.

Gemini in **Google Sheets** currently supports table and formula creation, data analysis, charts, pivot-table and formatting actions, filters, data filling, and optimisation tasks. Google has also introduced **Sheets Canvas**, which can transform spreadsheet data into interactive visual experiences such as dashboards, Kanban-style views, and other mini applications.

Gemini in **Google Slides** can generate and edit slide content, create images, summarise presentations, and use Drive files as source context. Google has also introduced broader presentation-generation capabilities that can use existing files and presentation styles as context.

Google Meet's current **Take notes for me** capability can automatically create meeting notes in Google Docs, provide a “Summary so far” for supported meetings, and make the resulting recap available through the meeting's Calendar context.

**Google Workspace Studio** is generally available for eligible business and enterprise Workspace environments and enables users to design, manage, and share AI-powered flows. Flows can start from an event or schedule, execute multiple steps, use Gemini for AI-powered analysis or generation, and be tested before activation.

Current Workspace capabilities also support reusable **Skills** created through Workspace Studio and invoked from Gemini-enabled Workspace experiences. These allow teams to encode repeatable instructions, templates, references, and process standards into reusable AI workflows.

For organisational accounts, access to Gemini and Workspace information remains subject to **administrator controls and underlying content permissions**. Google states that Workspace content used by Gemini in supported Workspace apps is not used to train or improve Gemini or other generative AI models under the applicable Workspace data protections.
